The Lane Family

Rumble, Scootaloo, Windy Whirl, Rose Fire, and Melon Crush. I chose the last name Lane, because I subscribe to the head-canon that Rumble and Thunderlane are brothers, so Rumble Lane. His Cutie Mark is a lightning bolt going through a rainbow ring

Scootaloo, after discovering her Cutie Mark with the other girls set about helping others as best she could. During high school she started dating Rumble, and by the time they graduated they were engaged. The pair are very close, Rumble doing tech for her and double checking her stunts, while she does the same for him. His stunts often involve flight, but he has no interest in joining the Wonderbolts. They found out Scoots was pregnant and it was a battle for poor Rumble to keep her from pulling dangerous stunts, but they soon found out she was having triplets. That alone was enough to ground her until after the birth. Windy Whirl has always been a speed demon like her mother and father, causing destruction wherever she goes. Rose Fire is the smallest of the three, and calmer but still very much a tomboy. She has a temper that’s got her into a lot of trouble. Melon Crush is a mamma's boy, with high energy and a love for danger that gets him in as much trouble as his sisters.
    With the three rambunctious foals to look after Scoots settled down in Ponyville, proposing the idea of creating an organization to help foals find their talents and keep them from getting into as much trouble as the CMC had when they were young. Together they set up the Cutie Mark Crusaders organization, similar to our boys and girls club or a summer camp, for any and all blank flank foals hoping to find their talent. Scoots also set up a disability acceptance group inside the Crusaders, that helps foals like herself who have some form of disability such as her trouble flying or unicorns unable to use magic due to birth defects. She takes great care to help them, and teach them that it’s okay to be disabled, and that they can still be great members of society, while helping teach those who can how to fly.

Windy Whirl -
Personality: A wild ball of energy and destruction. She loves to fly at high speeds and make dust storms and tornadoes. She’s a tomboy through and through with a heart for races and a love of all things fast paced. She often has trouble focusing in school because they move too slow.

Occupation: Elementary school student

Rose Fire -
Personality: The smallest of the three and the calmest, she’s like the eye of the storm, until you get on her bad side or push her too far, then she’s like a hurricane. She’ll pound you into dust if you don’t get out of her way in time, but those instances are rare and she’s for the most part a daddy’s girl who loves getting to fly with him. She also loves to visit her Aunt Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy and help Flutters with her gardens.

Melon Crush -
Personality: Like his sister Windy, Melon is a ball of high strung energy. He’s extremely intelligent too, usually making the plans for the group. He loves pulling stunts and flying with his dad, but really loves it when his mother lets him ride with her.
